Jim,who has a background in psychotherapy, has been an accredited family mediator working for the State-funded Family Mediation Service since 2001.During that time, many of his domestic cases have involved relocation disputes, often with a cross-cultural component. He has been a supervisor and trainer of family mediators since 2005 and contributes to the family mediation training at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth.
