I graduated from Heidelberg University in 1997 with my Masters in Education Science and Social Anthropology.

In 2001 I moved from Germany to South Africa where I worked at Stellenbosch University and at the the DAAD office at the University at the Witwatersrand. I also worked for an international NGO in Johannesburg focussing on social development..

Since I have returned to Germany in 2011 I qualified as an intercultural trainer and intercultural mediator working in the field of international cooperation and training.
