Branka holds graduate degrees in Phonetics and in Italian from University of Zagreb (Croatia) and post-graduate degree in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University (USA). She facilitates cooperation processes, trains and consults on consensus building, conflict transformation and partnership, building upon her twenty years of experience in working with marginalized youth and children (from post-war communities, without adequate parental care, Roma). She mediated for the first time in 1996, became certified mediator in small claim courts in Massachusetts in 2002 and designed and delivered her first mediation training for police officers, judges, social workers and community activists in 2004.
