Evelyne Meissirel practiced as a sollicitor before qualifying as an accredited mediator in 2006. She has over 500 hours mediation experience and now practices mediation full time and also provides training in mediation. She was the Belgian candidate for the EU funded TIM training in International Mediation in Brussels in 2011 and is now Certified International Family Mediators. She is administrator of the Trialogues Mediation Centre, a non profit organisation and President of the Mediation Commission of the Brussels Bar. She is a native French speaker. She runs mediation training courses for the lawyers, judges and social workers (first at the Louvain University and now for the Brussels Bar and Ifomene Paris) and seminars on mediation for business and professional organisations. She is also systemic family therapist.
